What is involved in a Neurology Consultation?
Obtaining a thorough history is paramount in the process of diagnosis. Behavioural changes such as seizures, head tilting, posture, and gait can all be useful in establishing this history. After an initial examination your vet will discuss if further investigations are required. This may involve the use of traditional radiographs or MRI scanning, or cerebrospinal fluid collection and analysis. Spinal surgery can be performed here at the clinic by our neurology specialist.
