Services
You can be assured that when you come to Chiltern Referral Services your veterinary surgeon does not just have an 'interest ' in a discipline, but has been extensively trained and examined by the governing bodies, both nationally and internationally. We always aim to maintain the highest standard of professional excellence for all our patients.
Our specialist veterinary surgeons are all trained to RCVS or European Diplomate level. Chiltern Referal Services do not employ trainee clinicians so you will only receive top level advice. As Diplomates with national and international reputations the quality of care we can offer is second to none, using the latest innovations in patient diagnosis and treatment.
What is a RCVS or European Specialist?
Surgeons that are members of the European College of Veterinary Surgeons (ECVS) have undergone extensive training in their discipline and are required to be published in major veterinary journals. This demanding process of board certification assures quality service to the European public and their animals.
Similarly, in order to attain the Royal Collage of Veterinary Surgeons specialist status (RCVS Specialist), those individuals must achieve a post graduate qualification at least to Diploma level, and in addition satisfy the RCVS that they make an active contribution to their speciality, through teaching and participation in world meetings within their specialised field.
